After many speculations about the launch of Nokia smartphones, it is almost official that Nokia will be launching two variants of Nokia D1C at the Mobile World Congress 2017 to be held in Barcelona, Spain.
According to the reports, Nokia D1C will come in two versions; 2 GB version and 3 GB versions which will be priced at Rs 9999 and Rs 12999 respectively. The specifications relative to the price seems to be worthful. If we look into the specifications,
- Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core 64-bit 1.4 GHz Processor with Adreno 505 GPU
- 32 GB, 3 GB RAM / 16 GB, 2 GB RAM
- 13+16MP camera combination.
- Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box
- 5-inch Full HD display (1080x1920pixels)
At this price point, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Moto G4 will be direct competitors for Nokia D1C. It will be interesting to see how Nokia would customize the Android UI to make more user-friendly. Nokia known for its reliability and built quality is re-entering the smartphone market after a long gap which not at all decreased the brand credibility among the users, thanks to the N-Series Symbian mobiles which are known for great built quality.
Users are expecting the same replica of which Nokia had ruled the mobile world for a long period. If Nokia comes with the same strength, there will be definitely no nearest competitor available in and around Nokia world.
