Reliance Jio to Provide Seamless Network with Rs 30,000 Crore Additional Investment

Reliance Jio, the telecom giant of Indian telecom Industry is planning to invest additional Rs 30,000 crore in improving the network. This investment adds to the existing Rs 1.6 lakh crore already invested in reaching close to Rs 1.9 lakh crore investment.

This new investment will be mainly used expand coverage and increase network capacity, said Reliance Jio in a notice to its existing stakeholders.

In view of the unexampled customer response to Reliance Jio services as well as address the predicted growth in demand for digital services, additional investments are intended to be made into the network to enhance its coverage and capacity, said the company.

Reliance Jio's network is worsening up as the data traffic from the users is getting heavy. So, Jio has to revamp its network to increase the bandwidth so that users get seamless connectivity.

Reliance Jio is expected to witness 100 million subscriber base by 2017 end as reported by experts. To retain the subscriber base and attract new customers this kind of investments are much needed. 

Reliance Jio also stated that as of December, Reliance Jio had 72.4 million subscribers which it has achieved within 4 months of time.



Reliance Jio started offering free services as a trial run which had continued after the commercial launch on September 05, 2016 to continue till March 2017 with the Happy New Year Offer.

Reliance Jio is offering Unlimited Local and STD calling for Lifetime to its users when opted for data packs.
