Scientists predict that the US will have lowest life expectancy while South Koreans will have the highest by 2030

We have been thinking that the life expectancy levels are plunging due to increase in stress in lifestyle and rising levels of pollution which is affecting the health.

In a recent study, scientists predict that the average life expectancy will soar into 90's in many parts of the world as medical advances are breaking the barriers parallelly.

The study was conducted by Imperial College London researchers in 35 developed countries using the death and longevity trends and following are the findings of the study.

Women in South Korea are projected to live up to 91 years and men would survive until 84 years by 2030 which can be attributed to the investments in health care. Whereas the US will witness one of the lowest rates due to high child and maternal mortality rates, homicides and obesity.

People believe that the upper limit for life expectancy would be 90 years in future but the current research indicates the rate would increase to 120 years.

Among European countries, French people have the highest life expectancies. French girls will live up to 89 and the French boys until 84.

The US will witness one of the lowest life expectancies among high-income countries, 80 for boys and 83 for girls. At the bottom of the list lies Macedonia, where men have 73 and women have 78.

The research also finds that the life expectancy gap between men and women is narrowing down. However, some difference do exist between the life expectancy of men and women as men usually have unhealthier lifestyle compare to women. They drink more, smoke more and more chances of facing accidents.
