Sony Latest Narrow Bezel Smartphone With In-house Developed Processor Looks Stunning; Releasing In September During IFA 2017 Event

It has been a while since Sony had a flagship phone that ran successfully in the market. The reason, Sony did not evolve on the design and specifications front and did not stand at par in the smartphone technology world. But this time, Sony is traveling along with the latest technology and is touted to unveil its latest flagship and another phone at the IFA 2017 even to be held Berlin, Germany. The event begins on September 1st this year and Sony is holding a pre-release event for the launch on August 31st.

The latest flagship device from Sony is a narrow bezel phone that has very fewer bezels on the top and sides and bezel of half a centimeter length at the bottom. This design made the phone look stunning and awe-inspiring.

Another significant feature of the smartphone is that Sony is unveiling its in-house made processor (yet to be named) through this smartphone. The processor is going to compete with Snapdragon, Mediatek, Samsung's Exynos, Huawei's Kirin and Xiaomi's Surge S1 processor.

In the world where many smartphone makers are focusing on developing their own chipset, not but not late, Sony developed its own chipset and featuring it in its flagship smartphone. Speculations are there that the chipset will compete Snapdragon 835 processor both in efficiency and process technology.

There are few more models from Sony that are readying to release this year -  Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact and Xperia X1. The Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact are touted to power SD 835 chipset, whereas, SD 630 processor will power Xperia X1 smartphone.

The Japanese smartphone giant is also working on an Ultra Phablet - Xperia X Ultra phablet which will feature an SD 660 processor, 6.4-inch screen.
