Research finds that students who study abroad are able to cope better with stress and can accomplish goals and targets easily

A new Research has now found that students who study abroad have high levels of self-efficacy. Self-efficacy personal efficacy can be defined as the strength of person's belief in his ability to complete tasks or to succeed in specific situations. They also found to have higher levels of satisfaction in their lives.

Research finds that students who study abroad are able to cope better with stress and can accomplish goals and targets easily


The study was conducted by Leuphana University L√ľneburg in Germany on 221 number of students have found that students who study abroad have the ability to perform difficult tasks and deal with the challenges they face than the students studying in the campus. On the other hand, students who plan to study abroad and fail to do so did not show an increase self-efficacy.



The Research also found that the students who study abroad have to meet new social contacts week also plays a role in improving the self-efficacy. Although it is unclear regarding the number of social contacts but this trend is influenced by their need to meet people of different cultures and adapt to their cultures.

In another separate study, that involved Chinese students who studied abroad, they seem to possess valuable experience with regard to career progression according to university world news. These students experienced an improved outlook, improved knowledge and work ethics, improved communication and problem-solving skills and better time management skills.Further Research has to be carried to know the
